Autonomous Vehicles and the Future of Mobility
November 7, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm$10 – $20
TiE Seattle and Smart Mobility present: Autonomous Vehicles and the Future of Mobility
The tremendous hype for autonomous cars over the past few years has resulted in huge investments and valuations in companies like Waymo, Cruise, Aurora, Zoox and others. At the same time, autonomous tech is seeing real-world applications and benefits in warehouses, delivery, logistics, shuttles, grocery stores, construction/mining vehicles, drones and others. The tech involved is also helping significant improvements in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as well as semi-autonomous driving such as the Tesla Autopilot and platooning.
This event will cover key innovations in 3d mapping, sensing, simulations, connectivity and data analytics as well as answer your questions as to how autonomous tech is driving the future of mobility.

He oversees the company’s development of automated vehicle and new mobility products, leads public engagement on mobility and smart cities topics, and manages the company’s policy presence in Washington, D.C.
Diane Lansinger is the CEO and Founder of SEEVA Technologies, an early stage venture-backed startup that creates sensor cleaning solutions to solve a mission-critical problem for automated driving systems: helping vehicles see better in real-world environmental conditions like mud, snow, freezing rain and bugs. She is a co-inventor on three of SEEVA's patent applications.
Ethan is the Chief Product Officer at CARMERA, a street intelligence platform.Prior to joining CARMERA, Ethan was an engineering leader at Amazon Maps and Apple Maps, managing large teams to build and release new versions of their global map products.
James has 13 years of experience building and applying simulation and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. He started his career in the simulation brand at Dassault Systèmes (DS), Boeing and then at Amazon. He is now in the AI organization at Unity, where he brings together his expertise in simulation and AI to develop new products for the engineering of autonomous systems.
Mohammed Ansari recently left LG Electronics’s Silicon Valley Lab where he was the GM & SVP for 4 years to join an AI enabled IoT startup as the CTO. The startup is leveraging AI and IoT data to build a white label B2B service platform. At LG, He was responsible for creating new software components and solutions to benefit the company’s diverse portfolio of products and services.
Precia is the Sr. Manager for IoT, Advanced Mobility (Autonomous Vehicles, Aviation, Robotics) at T-Mobile. Prior to T-Mobile she was with Verizon Telematics and at AT&T before that. She started as an entrepreneur in her late teens, continuing to explore and deploy disruptive innovations in emerging technology verticals.
