Smart Mobility Seattle together with TiE Seattle brings to you the inaugural industry spotlight event on Smart Mobility.
The $3 trillion global automotive industry is going through a major transformation with ride/car sharing services, electric, autonomous and connected vehicle technologies gaining rapid evolution and adoption. Being the epicenter of cloud innovation, Seattle is attracting an increasing number of mobility companies including Mercedes, GM Cruise, Uber, Lyft, Grab and others.
This event brings some of the industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and the community together to discuss industry trends, the role of cloud tech and the future of mobility.

Avijit Sinha
Avijit Sinha is Senior Director, Corporate Business Development for IoT and Intelligent Edge at Microsoft. Avijit Sinha drives business development for emerging technologies across Connected Cars, Intelligent Personal Assistants, Location Based Services, Industrial IoT, Smart Buildings, Drones, Autonomous Driving, Ride Sharing, Fleet Management, Agricultural IoT and Sports Analytics.
David Jumpa
With more than 25 years in senior management, business development, sales operations and engineering leadership, David has been instrumental in the growth of the company’s automotive business. His first tenure at Airbiquity was from 1999 to 2002, before he left to start a successful speech recognition company. After its acquisition, he rejoined Airbiquity in 2005 and is responsible for driving sales operations and increasing revenues.
Jeff Warren
Jeff Warren is the founder and CEO of Migo, the search app for personal transportation that mixes ride share, traditional taxis, car-share, bikes, electric scooters and public transportation onto a single real-time mobile app, for people taking the leap into the new world of shared mobility. Previously, Jeff was the digital CMO for two Expedia brands, Travelocity and Wotif. Jeff joined Expedia in 2011 to lead mobile, local and social product teams.
Manuela Papadopol
Manuela has devoted her career to advancing automotive technology. She is an ambassador for the entire industry as it evolves toward highly automated features and, ultimately, self-driving cars. In addition to her role as CEO of Designated Driver, she serves as an advisory board member for Automobility LA where she pioneered the event’s Top 10 Automotive Startup Competition, shining a light on the technological innovation that is bringing smart mobility to the masses.
Mike Dosenbach
Mike Dosenbach is the Site Lead and Senior Engineering Manager for the MBRDNA Digital Hub in Seattle, which focuses on Software Development and Cloud Computing for Mercedes-Benz connected vehicles. Dosenbach has led the Seattle Hub since 2017 and is focused on driving the cloud technologies and new computing paradigms at Daimler.
Milind Mahajan
Milind is currently Head of the Seattle R&D Center at Grab. Before joining Grab, Milind spent 2 years at Twitter leading the Ads Targeting and Brand Hub teams in Twitter Seattle. Prior to that Milind co-founded SwiftGist, a startup that built tools and services to help businesses gain insights about customer interactions through application of data science.
Sanjay Ravi
Sanjay Ravi is responsible for the development of Microsoft’s global Automotive industry business. He leads the team that supports vehicle manufacturers and mobility service providers including their suppliers and ecosystem partners with innovative solutions and services strategies that accelerate digital transformation.
Sanket Akerkar
Sanket leads Nauto’s global business and expansion across North America, Europe and Japan. Prior to Nauto, Sanket spent 14 years at Microsoft in various senior leadership positions including VP Global Enterprise, Chief Evangelist (U.S.) and Managing Director of Microsoft India. Prior to Microsoft, Sanket spent 6 years at McKinsey as a consultant.
